From the family of artists Rohini as Rishika Singh is stepping in to the arch light. The grand daughter of producer cum director Shanker Singh and Protima Devi famous actress of yesteryears Rishika Singh daughter of national acclaimed director S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu and sister of actor Aditya. Rishika aunt is famous actress and director Vijayalakshmi Singh and uncle is Jai Jagdeesh the well known producer and actor of Kannada cinema.

Armed with degree in Fashion Designing from Mount Carmel College this 20 years well built and beautiful Rishika Singh got trained in acting from Kishore Namith Kapoor School of acting in Mumbai for six months.

The prestigious banner Ramu Enterprises is taking up ‘Kanteerava’ a remake of ‘Simhadri’ Telugu film in which Rishika plays the female lead. Action hero Vijay is her first counterpart on silver screen. Tushar Ranganath will be directing this movie.

Vijay’s pet Shuba Poonja is another heroine of ‘Kanteerava’. In March the film is starting shooting after Ramu Enterprises completes ‘Gandedhe’ and ‘Veera’ films that are on floors right now.
